The U.are.U Fingerprint Keyboard is a Windows-compatible 104-key keyboard with a built-in U.are.U 4000B Fingerprint Reader. The keyboard is ideal for networked office environments and e-commerce applications where the convenience and security of fingerprint authentication is required.

The integrated U.are.U Reader uses optical technology to achieve excellent image quality, a larger capture area, and superior reliability. Even the hardest-to-read fingerprints are captured accurately and quickly, regardless of placement angle. The user simply places their finger on the glowing reader window, and the reader quickly and automatically scans the fingerprint.
On-board electronics calibrate the reader and encrypt the scanned date before sending it over the USB interface. Since the finger touches a plastic surface, the danger of damage by electrostatic discharge is eliminated.

The U.are.U Fingerprint Keyboard can be purchased with DigitalPersona Pro Workstation, DigitalPersona Pro Kiosk, DigitalPersona Platinum and Gold Integrator packages.
This ergonomic keyboard with built-in fingerprint reader is a cost-effective option for desktop users that eliminates having to attach two USB devices; keyboard and finerprint reader.
